Job Summary
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofMississauga Ontarioor be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4years of InformationTechnologyexperiencewith strong focus on UI and full stack application development.
- Hands-on expertise in modern UI frameworks such as Angular React or equivalent with strong proficiency in TypeScript JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3.
- Strong backend development experience using Java/J2EE including Java 8/11/17 Spring Boot Microservices and REST/SOAP web services.

- Experience in leading end-to-end design and delivery of UIdriven enterprise applications.
- Experience in providing architectural guidance design decisions and code quality.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services and cloud-based application deployments.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices including Git Azure DevOps Jenkins Maven Docker Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Solid understanding of application transitions knowledge transfer and production support for businesscritical systems.
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across geographically distributed teams.
- Experience with UI modernization and legacy modernization initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of unit testing and automation testing for UI and backend layers (JUnit Mockito UI test frameworks).
- Experience with API testing and documentation using Postman and Swagger.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as AppDynamics Grafana Kibana or ElasticSearch.
- Experience mentoring and guiding teams of 3 to 5 developers.
- Domain experience in utilities or regulated enterprise environments.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 92740 to $ 123375.
