Heres how aTechnology Equipment Coordinator for PCL Construction Resources Inc. within Resources contributes to our team:
- Configure image and deploy end-user technology equipment.
- Support the lifecycle management of computers networking equipment servers printers and related technology assets.
- Coordinate hardware warranty claims and vendor escalations.
- Refurbish and prepare technology assets for redeployment.
- Maintain hardware standards and equipment information within company systems.
- Support the deployment and management of specialized technology including cameras and drones.
- Coordinate equipment movement and inventory replenishment with warehouse and logistics teams.
- Prepare decommissioned equipment for donation or disposal.
- Document incidents resolutions and asset information accurately within tracking systems.
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate technical concerns through established support channels.
- Postsecondary diploma or degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of technical or IT support experience.
- Knowledge of computer hardware peripherals software and related technology services.
- Understanding of IT asset management principles and equipment lifecycles.
- Experience using asset management inventory or service management systems.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
