We are looking for a Journeyman HET or Electrician Technician 2 Power for our Service Center in Terrace BC - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What youll do:

• Youll be based out of our Terrace BC Service Center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators diesel engines electrical distribution equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of HVAC systems including chillers air conditioners boilers and heaters
• Troubleshoot equipment failures on site and handle the repairs
• You will either be on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop

Were experts which means youll have the following skills and experience:

• High School diploma/GED
• Journeyman HET (off-Road) HVAC or Industrial Electrician
• 4 years of experience working on Cummins Volvo or Jenbacher diesel or natural gas-powered generators and compressors performing inspections maintenance and repairs
• 4 years of experience working on commercial HVAC equipment performing inspections maintenance and repairs
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements along with reading and knowing schematics
• Valid drivers license and Passport
• Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 50 lbs.
