Technical Project Manager

Were looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a telecom background to lead and coordinate complex cross-functional IT projects through the full delivery lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings strong project governance skills Agile experience and the ability to manage multiple workstreams while keeping stakeholders aligned and informed.

What youll do

• Manage and lead complex projects end-to-end across inception design development integration testing and deployment
• Assemble project plans and team assignments monitor daily work efforts and identify resource needs
• Create and maintain end-to-end project plans in collaboration with scrum masters and team leads
• Track key milestones manage critical path and risk areas and develop risk mitigation plans
• Lead change request generation tracking and communication across teams
• Coordinate communication across all areas of the enterprise that impact scope budget risk and resources
• Provide regular status updates on progress risks and issues to management and stakeholders
• Support program managers in identifying and prioritizing opportunities to leverage IT for business goals
• Manage project-specific budgets and ensure delivery within approved financials
• Drive continuous improvement by providing structured feedback to delivery teams

What you bring

• 10 years of IT experience with 7 years managing projects across multiple technologies and functions
• Strong background in telecom environments
• Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies resource management and change management techniques
• Agile Scrum certification with hands-on experience using Rally or similar tracking tools
• Familiarity with Agile and Kanban delivery approaches
• Expertise in infrastructure concepts and enterprise systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Project Management certification or equivalent recognized curriculum
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field

Nice to have

• Enterprise systems or database administration background
• Experience supporting large-scale telecom transformation or infrastructure programs
• Familiarity with budget management in a project delivery context

Work setup

• Hybrid in Toronto ON - 3 days onsite per week
• 6 to 12 month contract
• English proficiency required
