WhatYouWillExperienceInThisRole:

CAMP monitors 35000 aircraft engines worldwide in close partnership with the engine OEMs behind those programs today mainly Pratt & Whitney Canada and Honeywell with additional OEM partnerships expected as the business grows. Were hiring a Technical Product Manager (Engine Health Monitoring) to own the day-to-day technical relationship with those partners aligning roadmaps working through engine performance challenges together and turning those conversations into clear product direction for our engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • OwnthetechnicalrelationshipwithourengineOEMpartnersprincipallyPratt&WhitneyCanadaandHoneywellwithscopetogrowintoadditionalOEMsactingasCAMPsday-to-daytechnicalpointofcontactbuildtrustattheworkinglevelandkeepthepartnershipproductivebetweenformalreviews
  • AlignroadmapswithOEMpartners-runregulartechnicalreviewsunderstandtheirEHMprioritiesandprogramplansandshapehowCAMPsroadmapsupportsthem
  • WorkengineperformancetechnicalchallengesjointlywithOEMengineeringtoinvestigateissuesevaluateproposeddetectionlogicoralgorithmchangesanddrivethemtoanagreedsolution
  • TranslateOEMcommitmentscoordinationmemosandjointfindingsintoclearprioritizedrequirementsthedevelopmentteamcanbuildfrom
  • Applyenginehealthmonitoringexpertise(gaspathvibrationoilfueltrendanalysis)tointerpretenginebehaviorchallengeassumptionsandshapeproductconceptsgroundedinrealdata
  • Prototypeideashands-onusingAItools()tobuildlightweightproofs-of-conceptandpressure-testrequirementsbeforecommittingengineeringbandwidth
  • Represent the OEM and operator perspective internally; to engineering analytics and commercial teams and keep everyone aligned on commitments scope and timelines

Youhave:

  • ExperiencemanagingtechnicalrelationshipswithengineOEMssuppliersormajorpartnersinaerospace(directexposuretoPratt&WhitneyCanadaorHoneywellisastrongplus)whilebeingcomfortablesittingacrossfromengineeringleadershipandholdingasubstantiveconversation
  • ExperiencewithOEMserviceprogramscoordinationmemosorjointengineeringagreements
  • Workingknowledgeofturbineengineperformanceandenginehealthmonitoring:trendanalysisgaspath/vibration/oil/fuelparametersandwhathealthyversusdegradingbehaviorlookslike
  • AbilitytotranslateatechnicaldiscussionwithOEMengineersintorequirementsadevelopmentteamcanactonwithoutlosingtheengineeringdetail
  • ComfortusingAItools()toprototypeconceptsanddraftrequirements-youdontneedtobeasoftwareengineerbutyoushouldbeabletoputaroughworkingconcepttogetheryourself
  • AerospaceMechanicalorSystemsEngineeringbackgroundorequivalentexperienceinengineperformancepowerplantengineeringorconditionmonitoring
  • Strongwrittenandverbalcommunication;equallycrediblepresentingtoanOEMpartnerandtointernalexecutives
  • WillingnesstotraveltoOEMandcustomersites(approximately15-25%)
