Technical Infra Program Manager, Corporate Network Engineering

Amazon Corporate Network Engineering is seeking a Technical Program Manager.

This is for the Corporate Network Engineering team. This TIPM will work closely with NDEs and SysDEs in the Corporate Network Engineering team to drive engineering projects which are aimed towards delivering next-gen Engineering solutions for all Amazon Corporate Offices globally. This is Corporate Office Network Engineering team (not Data Center Network Engineering).

This TIPM You will be responsible for defining business strategy requirements and timelines along with working with multiple cross functional teams for networking projects in enterprise space. You will manage our cross-functional projects which require working with all organizational levels and groups including Global IT Corporate Infrastructure Enterprise Network Engineering staff and internal project management teams as well as external vendors. You will develop and manage project schedules identify risks and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders define problem solving and risk mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution through the full project cycle. A strong background in IT infrastructure technology deployment or computer science is essential for your success in this position. You must have a proven track record of project completion that is on time and within budget. You must be able to command the intellectual respect of engineers as well as run extremely effective projects on compressed and timelines while dealing with ambiguity with grace and maturity.

Run meetings create and maintain timelines and keep large diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles
Work with engineers to develop detail and creative solutions to complex problems while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs
Provide timely updates on project status to leadership and track progress of milestones.


Key job responsibilities
Should have a networking background where you have worked on network engineering projects in the past.

- 3 years of technical infrastructure management experience
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Experience working in a large-scale networking environment

- CCNA or equivalent level networking certification or Bachelors degree
- Experience in internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP BGP MPLS ISIS and/or OSPF
- Past experience managing Enterprise network Engineering programs

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company Amazons package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
