Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager Applications Support & Development the Team Leader is responsible for planning organizing and providing day-to-day direction to designated staff assigned clinical applications support and development.
Provides knowledge and leadership to advise IM/IT staff and project teams on the operational clinical documentation components of the Cerner PowerChart and related applications. Supports VIHAs strategic objectives by championing the implementation and adoption of the electronic health record.
A level of education training and experience equivalent to a bachelors degree in one of Health Information Sciences Nursing and/or Computer Science with five (5) years experience with application support design build and testing within a healthcare environment.

- Ability to handle sensitive corporate and personnel information
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of systems analysis and design techniques
