Weare seeking a Team Lead Paralegal to oversee our resident legal function while providing day-to-dayleadership and guidance to our Paralegal role is responsible for ensuring the timely accurate and consistent management of landlord tenant legal matters across our residential addition to managing a portfolio of complex legal files the Team Lead will provide coaching and guidance to the Paralegal team establish bestpractices monitor workflow and quality and partner closely with Property ManagementAccounting and Legal to deliver compliant efficient and resident-focused ideal candidate is an experienced licensed Paralegal with strong leadership capabilities exceptional organizational skills and a passion for building efficient processes and developing people. This individual will represent the organization before the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) provide subject matter expertise on the Residential Tenancies Act and help drive continuous improvement across the legal operations ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementProvide day-to-day leadership coaching and mentorship to a team of work for accuracy quality and compliance with legislation and internal workload distribution and prioritize files to ensure service levels are opportunities to improve workflows increase efficiency and as the primary escalation point for complex resident legal OperationsOversee the preparation and filing of Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) applications andprescribed legal an active caseload including preparing legal forms reviewing files andrepresenting the organization at LTB resident ledgers and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and supportcollections interpret and implement LTB Orders mediated agreements and related legal issues gather evidence and oversee disclosure preparation for payment agreements and settlement arrangements where all legal files are organized complete and maintained in accordance with & CompliancePartner closely with Property Management Accounting and In-House Legal Counsel to resolve complex legal guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding landlord-tenant legislation and legal legislative changes affecting residential tenancy law and communicate updates tothe -HavesLicensed P1 Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.5 years of paralegal experience with experience representing landlords before the Landlord and Tenant working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and related experience leading mentoring or coaching a team (formal leadership experience preferred).Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced analytical organizational and problem-solving written and verbal communication in Microsoft using Yardi or other property management supporting a large multi-residential property portfolioMost importantly we are a small yet mighty team.
