Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and filing of Canadian federal and provincial tax returns elections and related compliance obligations while coordinating with international tax reporting requirements as applicable. Manage relationships with external advisors and tax authorities including the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and provincial revenue agencies. Manage a professional tax team ensuring compliance with evolving Canadian tax legislation and best practices.

Be an integral partner in Oracles business decisions to enhance shareholder value by providing tax-related advice globally to all business units with a focus on Canadian federal and provincial tax matters. Develop and implement systems to compile information for various Canadian federal provincial local and international tax filings and reports. Represent the company on tax matters before the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) provincial tax authorities and in government professional and industry associations. Perform or direct research analysis and interpretation of Canadian federal and provincial tax legislation as well as applicable international tax laws and regulations. Manage and oversee compliance with Canadian and international tax requirements. May be involved with the tax implications of mergers acquisitions reorganizations and cross-border transactions including Canadian federal and provincial tax considerations.
