The Role

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist you will play a key role in strengthening BGCs ability to proactively identify engage and attract top consulting talent. Working closely with the Recruiting team and hiring leaders you will build high-quality talent pipelines that support both immediate hiring needs and longer-term growth. This is an excitingopportunity for an experienced sourcing professional who thrives in a consultative environment and brings a strategic lens toidentifyingtalent incompetitive markets.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand technicaland rolerequirementsidentifyidealcandidateprofiles develop job postingsandidentifyrole specific sourcing strategies

• Partner with the Recruiting team onsourcing strategies toidentifyand engage talent through multiple channels including LinkedIn Recruiter professionalnetworksand industrycommunities; supportBGCsreferral strategies andleverageinternal networks

• Producetimely qualified shortlists for priority roles while building andmaintainingpipelines for future hiring needs

• Completeinitialcandidate screens to confirm technical fit interest and availability prior to handoff to hiring leads and interview panels

• Support candidate selection and offer processes ensuring smooth coordination clearcommunication andtimelyprogression through the hiring process

• Maintain a consistently high standard of candidatecommunication and transparency

• Managerecruiting administrationincludingjob posting job board managementinterview scheduling documentationcandidatecommunications candidate trackingrecruiting process management andrecruitment agency contracts.

• Overseethe work ofaTalent AcquisitionCoordinator who supportsTAadministration andjunior recruiting functions.

Position Requirements

• 5 years of experience in talent sourcing or recruitment ideally within professional services consulting or other knowledge-based industries

• Experience sourcing for specialized technical roles (e.g. engineering geoscience software or other consulting disciplines)

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with leaders

• Proficiencywith Applicant Tracking Systems and LinkedIn Recruiter

• Curiosity and adaptability with emerging sourcing technologies tools and market trends

• Experience sourcing talent within Canada and the U.S. and ideally across global talent markets (including engaging candidates internationally) is considered an asset

• French or Spanish languageproficiencyis considered an asset

• Experience mentoring junior team members is preferred.

• Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.

The estimated basesalaryrange for this position is$85000 $105000CAD per annum however base pay will becommensuratewith job-related knowledge skills and experience. BGCscompensation package also includes a training allowance and acomprehensive medical and dental plan.
