Superintendent Recovery (Power Recovery Cogen)

Twin Rivers Pulp Ltd. prides itself on its dedicated employees the reputation of its high quality products and its long-term customer relationships. For the Edmundston Pulp Mill we are currently seeking a: Superintendent Recovery (Power Recovery Cogen).

Challenges:

• * Promote and ensure a safe work environment with employees participation
• * Plan prioritize coordinate supervise and review the activities in assigned area
  • * Power Recovery Cogeneration Department
• * Control operational activities while respecting environmental targets
• * Oversee powerhouse operations (boilers steam water systems and utilities)
• * Plant shutdowns inspections and preventive/corrective maintenance
• * Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards
• * Optimize equipment performance and reliability
• * Identify and lead energy efficiency and emission reduction projects
• * Track performance standards and recommend improvements
• * Ensure required training and certifications are up to date for all employees

Requirements:

• * Valid Class 2 Power Engineer certification (or working towards a Class 2)
• * 5 - 10 years of experience in an industrial environment
• * Experience in team leadership and regulatory compliance
• * Any other combination of training and relevant experience may be considered
• * Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)
