This internship program offers hands-on experience supporting wealth management advisor onboarding and business operations. This opportunity is ideal for motivated undergraduate students seeking practical experience in client service stakeholder engagement business processes and operational support. As an intern youll collaborate with professionals across the organization contribute to ongoing business initiatives support reporting and communications activities and help deliver an exceptional experience for advisors and clients. This dynamic environment will help you develop foundational skills for a successful career in wealth management and financial services.

You will have the opportunity to work with one of the following teams:

Manulife Private Wealth Investment Counsel Support

  • Support investment professionals in delivering wealth management and portfolio management services to high-net-worth clients.

  • Assist with client reporting presentations and meeting materials.

  • Maintain client and operational documentation and support day-to-day business activities.

  • Contribute to business process improvements and special projects.

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Advisor Transition & Onboarding

  • Support advisors transitioning their business to Manulife Wealth.

  • Assist with onboarding activities advisor and client information management and operational processes.

  • Coordinate with internal partners across Compliance Operations and Technology teams.

  • Support onboarding communications reporting and process improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute to projects that enhance the advisor onboarding experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in business Commerce Finance Economics Communications or a related field.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Excel PowerPoint and Word.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly proactive self-motivated and eager to learn.

Salary range is expected to be between:

$40950.00 CAD - $56550.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training. The annual salary will be pro-rated based on the length of the work-term.
