The Kedgwick Sawmill is seeking motivated and hardworking students to join our team as Production Workers for the summer of 2027. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial environment while working alongside experienced employees.
No previous experience is required. We will provide the training and support needed for you to succeed.

Responsibilities
What youll do:
As a Student youll play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the sawmill.
- Supporting production activities throughout various areas of the mill
- Providing relief coverage during employee breaks and vacation periods
- Performing housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Rotating through various trained positions within the operation
- Assisting with material handling activities including lifting pulling and stacking materials
- Following all safety procedures and workplace standards
- Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications
What youll bring:
- Currently enrolled in high school college or university or accepted into a post-secondary program for Fall 2027
- Reliable motivated and eager to learn
- Able to perform physical work including lifting pulling and stacking materials
- Committed to quality work and workplace safety
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- Quick learners with a positive attitude
- Able to meet J.D. Irving Limited selection criteria
