Job Scope

Victaulic is seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design and analysis of pipe support systems seismic restraints and structural interfaces across a wide range of projects. This role is suited for candidates with strong structural fundamentals with the opportunity to contribute at a more senior level based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze pipe supports anchors guides restraints and related structural components
• Perform structural calculations for steel supports base plates anchorage and foundations
• Design seismic bracing systems in accordance with applicable building codes and standards
• Evaluate loads structural interfaces and coordination with mechanical civil and architectural disciplines
• Develop calculations drawings and engineering deliverables in collaboration with internal teams
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and customers including participation in meetings and presentations
• Support field activities including site visits troubleshooting and installation guidance

Additional Responsibilities

• Lead complex or large-scale projects and provide technical oversight
• Review and approve calculations and design deliverables for accuracy and compliance
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
• Support business development efforts and represent engineering in customer-facing interactions

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 5 years of relevant structural engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Experience with pipe support design industrial or building systems is an asset
• Knowledge of applicable codes (ASCE IBC AISC ACI NFPA etc.)
• Proficiency with structural analysis tools (RAM RISA STAAD or similar)
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel (1520%)

Salary: $80 - 110k (based on experience)
