WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Store Manager to join our SelbyStore located at 278 Selby St Nanaimo BC. This is a full-time position.

Our ideal candidate is:

Available to work any day of the week includingmornings evenings weekends and holidays

Friendly helpful and customer-focused

Experienced in retail management with at leasttwo years in a leadership role

Able to lead mentor train and develop a team

A liquor and spirits expert

Skilled in analyzing market financial andsales data to identify trends and improve merchandising

Proficient in Excel Word computerized systemsand sales-tracking software

An excellent verbal and written communicator

Committed to safety integrity and teamwork

Physically able to stand for extended periodsand lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Able to provide a satisfactory criminal recordcheck

Serving It Right certified before starting WSETLevel 2 is preferred

WHAT YOULL DO

The Store Manager oversees all aspects of the liquor storesdaily operations while ensuring consistently high standards of customerservice. They develop and achieve operating plans budgets and sales targetsand oversee inventory management to maintain accuracy and appropriate stocklevels. The Store Manager hires leads coaches and develops the team managesemployee performance and supports ongoing learning and development. They alsobuild strong working relationships with other departments suppliers andbusiness partners maintain a clean organized and welcoming storeenvironment and ensure compliance with all regulations governing the sale ofrestricted products.
