Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Platform Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise storage technologies and strong software engineering capabilities. The successful candidate will drive storage modernization through automation Infrastructure-as-Code API integration and platform engineering practices while ensuring secure resilient and scalable storage services that support TDs evolving business and technology strategy.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Architecture Security & Innovation

• Utilize subject matter expertise to evaluate introduce and operationalize emerging storage automation and cyber resilience technologies.
• Design and implement highly available secure resilient and compliant storage solutions that align with TD security risk and regulatory requirements.
• Lead automation and engineering initiatives that reduce operational risk improve reliability increase efficiency and enhance service delivery.
• Develop platform engineering capabilities that enable self-service storage consumption and automated lifecycle management.
• Contribute to strategic modernization initiatives including infrastructure transformation cyber recovery immutable storage and disaster recovery solutions.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

• 7 years of enterprise storage engineering experience designing implementing automating and supporting large-scale storage infrastructure solutions across NAS SAN Object Storage and Data Protection platforms.
• Deep expertise in enterprise storage technologies and architectures including storage provisioning virtualization performance optimization capacity management replication business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Strong automation and development skills with hands-on experience using Python PowerShell Bash REST APIs and orchestration frameworks to automate storage operations and service delivery.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform Ansible Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure deployment and configuration management.
• Experience designing scalable and resilient storage platforms that enable self-service capabilities policy-driven automation and reduced operational complexity.
• Strong experience integrating storage platforms with enterprise systems through APIs and orchestration frameworks enabling automated provisioning monitoring reporting and operational workflows.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise storage and data protection platforms including NetApp Hitachi Vantara Dell Technologies (PowerScale PowerMax Data Domain) Commvault and related ecosystem technologies.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues across multiple technology domains.
• Experience implementing observability and operational excellence practices using monitoring telemetry analytics and reporting solutions to improve platform reliability and performance.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid cloud storage architectures including Azure GCP and cloud-native storage services.
