Reporting directly to the Controller this role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of the accounting function in a collaborative and fast-paced successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day execution of accounting activities including accounts payable accounts receivable month-end close account reconciliations inventory accounting and financial reporting addition to maintaining accurate financial records this individual will work closely with the Controller to identify process improvements strengthen controls and support operational decision-making across the the organization continues its evolution this position offers significant opportunities for professional growth and increased responsibility. The successful candidate will be encouraged to take ownership of accounting processes contribute new ideas and develop broad accounting and business knowledge within a growing manufacturing Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with monthly and year-end financial close activities including journal entries reconciliations and supporting monthly financial reporting and accurate financial records within the ERP with inventory accounting manufacturing transactions and day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on a timely and resolve accounting discrepancies and account process improvement initiatives and system annual audits and compliance ad hoc projects and analysis as ideal candidate for this position will have:2-5 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience supporting month-end close account reconciliations and full-cycle accounting processes is considered an -secondary education in Accounting Finance or a related toward an accounting designation (CPA prep or enrollment) is considered an knowledge of accounting principles and financial with ERP systems and Microsoft attention to detail and organizational to manage multiple priorities and meet cost accounting or inventory experience is considered an AntecControls webelieve in hiring based on team fit.
