Job Summary

Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJs relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand clients needs attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.

A stable growing company in the waste management and recycling industry is hiring a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team in Vernon. This is an immediate-need replacement role offering the chance to step into day-to-day accounting work with a clear path to long-term stability.

Were looking for someone with a solid general accounting background strong communication skills and the ability to keep pace in a busy environment.

What Youll Do

Support daily accounting operations and general ledger activity
Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
Work cross-functionally to keep financial data accurate
Take on additional accounting projects and ad hoc reporting as needed

What You Bring

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
3 years of general accounting experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication
Detail-oriented organized and a strong problem-solver
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

$30 - $34 an hour

Schedule: Fully onsite in Vernon CA MondayFriday start time between 7:008:00 AM. Contract-to-hire
