This role supports theMarine Servicesbusiness providing in-service support and contract performance leadership for naval customers. The preferred location isHalifax (Dartmouth) Nova Scotia with consideration forVancouver/Victoria British Columbia. The position operates in a cross-functional environment coordinating across internal GE Aerospace stakeholders customers licensed MRO resources vendors and subcontractors to ensure contract obligations compliance and fleet readiness outcomes are achieved.
TheSr Services Manager 2 - Customer Contract Managementleads pre- and post-contract administration including contract terms and conditions claims management risk modeling and contract estimating activities supporting tenders and program reviews. The role has moderate autonomy and requires strong operational judgment to improve thequality efficiency and effectivenessof contract execution.
In this Marine Services assignment the Program Manager leads major and complex work with long-term business implications owningIn Service Support Contract productivity strategy and executionand providing technical leadership and program governance forLM2500fleet sustainment activities.
Contract Cost Oversight & Planning: Own contract cost oversight forecasting and planning to support productivity strategy and deliver performance to contract commitments. Customer Program Liaison: Serve as the primary programmatic liaison with Defense stakeholders ensuring alignment on priorities issues and execution plans. Contract Performance Reporting: Lead contract performance reporting to Defense ensuring clear dashboards status visibility and timely communication of risks and mitigation actions. Budget Awareness & Fleet Coordination: Maintain Defense budget awareness and support long-range fleet coordination to align sustainment plans to operational needs and funding realities. LM2500 MRO Planning & Engineering Liaison: Lead LM2500 fleet maintenance repair and overhaul planning; act as engineering liaison between depot management and the Naval Defense contracting organization. Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Manage assigned vendor contracts and subcontractor component repair activity including performance reviews issue resolution and delivery adherence. Engine Life Management & Tracking: Lead engine life management tracking and sustainment analytics to support readiness and lifecycle decision-making. RCN / GE / Licensed MRO Interface: Serve as engineering liaison between the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) GE Aerospace and licensed MRO resources to coordinate technical execution and sustainment decisions. Customer Training Program: Develop and manage customer training programs to strengthen maintenance capability and improve sustainment outcomes. Spares and Materiel Execution: Lead spares/materiel forecasting control procurement and reporting to support fleet readiness and contract compliance. Program Governance & Internal Leadership Updates: Lead regular program updates for internal leadership and drive structured governance across priorities risks and actions. Trend Analysis & Corrective Actions: Analyze contract trends identify gaps and drive corrective actions to improve performance compliance and customer experience. Integrity Controllership & Compliance: Ensure operational excellence in integrity controllership and compliance expectations across all contract management activities. Contract Management Discipline: Provide contract administration leadership across terms and conditions claim management risk modeling and estimating processes supporting tenders and project reviews.

Contract Documentation Requirement (RCN): Must be able to provideacademic qualifications years of experience and the number/description of Defense projects completed including references demonstrating where/when/how requirements are met.
Experience Pathways (RCN Contract Requirement): Candidate must meet(a and b)or(c)below:
(a)Five (5) years experience in the last ten (10) years as a program manager ofLM2500 Gas Turbine Assembly maintenance supportof at least$5M CADin value for the five (5) years of experience. For clarity different contracts (of at least$3M CADeach in value) can be used as proof of experience;and
(b)Proof of a currentProject Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)certification maintained current during tenure under the contract;or
(c)If PMP is not held ten (10) years experience in the last fifteen (15) years as a project/program manager of adefense contractin engineering or maintenance support at thegas turbine propulsion system levelof at least$5M CADin value for the ten (10) years of experience (different contracts of at least$3M CAD per yearmay be used as proof).
Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
Technical Background: StrongLM2500 technical backgroundspecializing in marine propulsion or power generation field service naval marine engineering service or merchant navy experience
Security: Possession of a Canadian Defense Security Clearance (NV1) or the ability to obtain such a clearance is amandatory requirement
