We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our Forward Deployed Engineering division. Reporting to the Senior Director Customer Engineering & Delivery you will bridge the gap between our customers strategic vision and the technical execution of solutions within AlayaCares SaaS platform.

As a member of the Forward Deployed Engineering team you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements aligning them with AlayaCares capabilities and designing solutions that address customer needs while influencing the evolution of AlayaCares extensibility platform. Success in this role requires strong communication skills to engage effectively with CIOs and other technical stakeholders as well as deep technical expertise to collaborate with the broader engineering team.

• Collaborate with the Revenue and Customer Success teams to understand customer needs challenges and objectives.
• Engage in strategic discussions with CIOs and other technical stakeholders to comprehend their business goals and technical requirements.
• Conduct discovery sessions workshops and presentations to gather information and provide insights on solution design and implementation.

• Translate customer requirements into comprehensive solution designs that leverage and influence AlayaCares SaaS platform capabilities.
• Develop innovative and scalable solutions that align with industry best practices security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Create architectural diagrams documentation and other artifacts to communicate the proposed solution to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the FDE team to validate technical feasibility and refine the solution design based on implementation constraints and considerations.

• Partner with the sales and account management teams to develop compelling proposals including solution design implementation timeline and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with the FDE team to ensure a smooth handover of the solution design providing necessary guidance and context.
• Engage deeply with AlayaCares Platform Architecture team to further develop the extensibility platform.
• Work closely with project managers and other internal teams to ensure successful delivery and implementation of the designed solutions.
• Provide ongoing support to the FDE team by addressing any solution-related questions or issues that arise during the implementation phase.

• Stay up to date with industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory changes related to the home care sector.
• Continuously expand knowledge of AlayaCares SaaS platform its features and functionalities to effectively propose optimal solutions to customers.
• Drive external endpoint development based on solution requirements.

• Bachelors or advanced degree in computer engineering computer science or any related fields.
• 2-3 years professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience in a solution architecture role preferably within the SaaS industry or healthcare sector.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Experience working with interoperability standards like HL7 FHIR and integration engines such as Iguana and Mirth.
• Strong understanding of software development principles system integration and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience engaging with CIOs and other high-level technical decision-makers.
• Proficiency in creating architectural diagrams and documentation using standard tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in the healthcare industry (e.g. HIPAA GDPR) considered an asset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Masters degree in a related field is considered an asset.
• Bilingual in French and English
