Smart Factory Deployment Specialist

Compensation Range: $90000 to $110000

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Statement of Work for automation projects.
• Lead automation projects from concept through implementation.
• Monitor suppliers and internal stakeholders during project development.
• Conduct Proof of concept projects of automation projects to validate new technology and applications.
• Receive and provide training to manufacturing engineering teams related to digitalization.
• Capture and validate best practices in automation and digitalization tools across MMLdivisions.
• Identify and select project priorities according to group strategy.
• Support creation of technical guidelines for automation / digitalization projects.
• Ensure Lean principles are in being followed going after automation projects.

Professional Experience and Education:

• College Diploma / University Degree in designated area
• Experience 5 years in manufacturing / automation engineering.
• Must be experienced in reading mechanical system and layout drawings.
• Experience in creating drawings in AutoCAD
• Experience in Robot programming basics (ABB Fanuc etc.).

Skills and Competencies:

• Understanding PLCprogramming networking protocols and technologies
• Time and project management skills with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed
• Knowledge of different project management methodologies
• Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills required.
• Demonstrated excellent leadership skills required
