Skilled Laborer Deficiency Specialist

In this role youll take on a variety of restoration repair and finishing tasks in both residential and commercial settings. Working under the direction of the Foreperson youll collaborate with your teammates to complete projects safely efficiently and to the highest standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform general labour and repair duties on residential and commercial projects.
• Complete sink bathtub countertop and cabinet repairs.
• Perform flooring tile drywall and paint touch-ups.
• Repair walls doorways and other interior finishes.
• Conduct deficiency walk-throughs and complete detailed deficiency reporting.
• Support damage prevention activities and maintain overall site conditions.
• Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment for the crew clients and the public.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in residential or commercial restoration or renovation projects.
• Experience with stainless steel renewal stone restoration weather protection glass scratch restoration window sealing and mullion repair is considered a strong asset.
• Strong customer service interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Technically proficient with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Intermediate First Aid with Transportation Endorsement WHMIS and Fall Protection certification (completed or willingness to obtain).
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Working Conditions

• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting standing bending lifting (up to 25 pounds) in confined spaces and in various weather conditions (rain snow heat etc.)
• Occasional travel required to site and/or other office locations

Compensation

$24.94 - $32.47 per hour

This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level industry experience and work location.

Remote site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
