Your place in our story

Supervise the construction activities of an assigned construction site to ensure units are delivered on schedule with appropriate specifications and on budget.

Heres how youll contribute

• Coordinates work schedules and assign work to all staff;

• Provides weekly updates and meetings on project status to all staff;

• Ensures all reports records timesheets and relevant documentation are submitted on time;

• Approves trade partner invoices for payment;

• Orders construction material from suppliers i.e. steel wood windows trusses;

• Reviews and revises architectural changes and customer extras on drawings and plans;

• Works with and manages the Warranty expectations throughout the project;

• Ensure after-hours and weekend security is in place for the construction site;

• Responsible for performance evaluation and career development plans of staff;

• Responsible for the Health and Safety requirements as per MOL regs and Mintos H&S Policies;

• Continuously pursues cost-effective alternatives to improve financial performance in all areas;

• Accountable for the allowance budgets;

• Supervises trains and provides direction on all work performed on-site by trade partners and Minto staff;

• Builds manages and maintains a high-performance team through effective talent recruitment coaching and development;

• Sets high standards establishes accountabilities and measures performance consistent with Mintos Values;

• Inspects the work site continuously to ensure all Minto staff and trades partners abide by Ministry of Ontario Labour regulations and Mintos Health & Safety Policies;

• Other duties within the scope spirit and purpose of the job as requested by management.

• High School Diploma is required a College Diploma is an asset (i.e. architectural construction management).
• Minimum five to seven (5-7) years in the construction industry (preferably high-rise).
• Microsoft Office (Excel Word and PowerPoint) Outlook
• Knowledge of Procore is an asset
• Bilingualism is an asset
• Communication skills (listening verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational skills

Hiring pay range: $115000-$125000
