Sideboom Operators (Local Fort McMurray)

Ledcor is seeking Sideboom Operators to join our team for ongoing maintenance work in Suncor Baseplant Fort McMurray AB.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operate 594 and 587 models safely and efficiently according to lift plan and site procedures

• Lift and movepipefor fabrication and assembly

• Work in tandem with other operators to safely carry sections of pipe

• Exercise extreme caution with awareness of potential situational hazards to ensure site safety

• Perform pre-useinspectionsand equipment walk-arounds before operating

• Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns

• Adhere to all Ledcor client and regulatory health safety and environmental requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience operating sidebooms

• Must be able to interpret capacity chart(s) and identify the rigging requirements

• Must be able to understand the capacity of each component and the relationships between the length of the boom length of cable cable size and load limits

• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing

• Strong commitment to safety

• Available for day/night shifts

• Valid drivers license
