Together we are Building A Better the Role:The Shift Manager leads production and operational activities within a high-volume automotive assembly environment. This role is responsible for achieving safety quality delivery and productivity objectives while developing team members resolving operational issues and driving continuous Range: $60000$10000 annuallyActual compensation may vary based on experience qualifications skills location and other job-related You Will Do:Lead daily production activities to achieve safety quality delivery and productivity coach and develop team members to build capability accountability and production schedules and effectively allocate people and resources to meet customer and resolve issues involving broadcast and sequencing systems including line escalations and production with Maintenance Quality Engineering Materials and Logistics to resolve issues and improve operational continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing root cause analysis and structured problem-solving the implementation of engineering and process changes ensuring effective communication and execution on the production accurate workstation documentation including Standardized Work Sheets (SWS) Process Verification Sheets (PVS) error-proofing documentation and Autonomous Maintenance and utilize the Versatility Matrix to identify skill gaps and support team member Training Within Industry (TWI) activities to establish standardized work and improve training and sustain 5S practices and ensure compliance with plant routine process verifications workstation audits and follow-up activities to maintain quality safety and process PFMEA activities by identifying process risks and implementing appropriate controls and corrective with the creation tracking validation and closure of open issues through structured follow-up and compliance with company policies safety requirements environmental standards and applicable regulatory a culture of teamwork continuous improvement accountability and You Need to Be Successful:3 years of leadership experience in a Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing in automotive manufacturing assembly sequencing or a similar high-volume production environment knowledge of manufacturing processes quality systems and continuous improvement knowledge of Process Control Plans (PCPs) Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs) rework processes and with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving with Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word and analytical organizational and decision-making to identify prioritize and resolve operational issues in a fast-paced manufacturing ability to coach mentor and develop team communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage employees and cross-functional to establish accountability drive performance and maintain a positive team to quickly learn and apply new processes technologies and manufacturing -oriented approach with a commitment to safety quality customer satisfaction and continuous :Bachelors degree in Operations Engineering Business or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be :Minimal travel requiredWhat We Offer:We believe our team members are our greatest investment which is why we offer a competitive total rewards package designed to support you at every stage of your career and life.
