The Sheet Metal General Foreperson leads and supports sheet metal field crews on major construction projects. They coordinate daily activities ensure safe and efficient execution and uphold Modern Niagaras standards for quality productivity and teamwork. Success in this role means strong crew performance smooth project delivery and a positive collaborative site environment.

Sheet Metal General Forepersons are essential to delivering highâquality mechanical systems and maintaining strong relationships with field teams project partners and clients. Their leadership directly impacts project safety schedule reliability installation quality and the overall success of Modern Niagaras growing Halifax region.

Lead sheet metal field crews to deliver safe highâquality and efficient work Coordinate materials tasks and schedules to keep projects moving smoothly Strengthen collaboration with project managers trades and site partners Support and mentor team members to build capability and drive performance Uphold Modern Niagara processes safety culture and quality standards

Lead daily activities of sheet metal field crews Coordinate manpower materials equipment and task sequencing Maintain high standards of safety quality and productivity Work closely with project managers and site partners to resolve issues Mentor and support team members to foster growth and development Ensure adherence to Modern Niagara procedures and project requirements

Strong leadership skills with experience supervising sheet metal crews Ability to coordinate multiple tasks teams and priorities Commitment to safety quality and professional conduct Effective communication and collaboration skills

Experience on largeâscale commercial or institutional projects Familiarity with Modern Niagara processes and systems Red Seal certification or equivalent trade credentials
