Youll be responsible for cleaning and presenting vehicles moving vehicles safely around the property keeping your work areas organized and making sure anything requiring attention is brought to the appropriate team position involves plenty of movement and hands-on work making it well suited to someone who likes an active workday rather than sitting behind a desk. Automotive experience is helpful but not ResponsibilitiesYoull spend your day helping the Service Department maintain a high standard of vehicle presentation. Key responsibilities include:Cleaning customer vehicles inside and out using dealership equipment and cleaning productsMoving and positioning vehicles throughout the dealership and lotChecking vehicles and surrounding areas for anything that should be brought to a team members attentionUsing vehicle-cleaning equipment tools and supplies safely and appropriatelyMaintaining an orderly and clean work areaHandling customer and company information with appropriate confidentialityWorking cooperatively with Service Department team membersTaking on additional tasks as required to support dealership operationsThe Person Were Looking ForWere looking for someone who takes pride in doing a job properly and can be counted on to get the work done should have:A valid BC Drivers Licence and a satisfactory ICBC Drivers AbstractThe ability to safely drive both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is preferredPrevious experience working around vehicles or in an automotive environment is an assetA dependable approach to attendance and punctualityA positive team-oriented attitudeGood awareness of your surroundings when moving vehicles and working around the dealershipThe ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks during busy periodsA willingness to learn dealership processes and equipmentWhat the Work Looks LikeThis is an active position.
