Jim Pattison Collision & Glass is looking for a dependable hands-on Collision ServiceAttendant to help keep repaired vehicles clean organized and ready for their position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work notices the small details and enjoys working around vehicles. Youll support the collision repair team by preparing vehicles for delivery moving vehicles safely around the facility maintaining the work area and helping ensure every vehicle leaves the shop looking its DetailsEmployment: Full-time permanentHours: 40 hours per weekSchedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 : One-hour unpaid lunchReports to: Collision ManagerYour RoleOnce a vehicle has completed its collision repairs youll help with the final steps before it returns to the customer. Your responsibilities will include:Washing and cleaning vehicles after body and paint and cleaning vehicle final detailing and presentation work before vehicles after cleaning and bringing any visible issues or concerns to the attention of the appropriate team and positioning vehicles within the shop yard storage areas and delivery appropriate care when handling customer vehicles and company detailing supplies tools and work areas clean and safe procedures when using cleaning chemicals equipment and other shop customer information and treating vehicle information cooperatively with technicians estimators management and other members of the collision with other day-to-day tasks that support the operation of the body You BringYou dont necessarily need extensive collision-repair experience. Were looking for someone who is reliable careful and willing to need:A valid Manitoba drivers licence and satisfactory drivers ability to drive both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is experience in automotive detailing a dealership collision repair or a similar environment is an asset.A strong eye for cleanliness and ability to follow directions manage priorities and work independently when required.A dependable attendance record and a positive attitude.A professional approach when working with customer Physical Side of the JobThis is an active position rather than a desk job.
