Role description:

Are you passionate about shaping the future of Albertas communities Join our Geomatics team as a SeniorSurvey Technician or Land Surveyor Project Managerand help create the smart safe and sustainable places where people live work and thrive. Youll work alongside experienced professionals on a wide range of exciting projects across Alberta gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills within a supportive growth-minded environment.

Preference will be given to candidates who are based in Calgary.

Role accountabilities:

As a key member of our team you will:

• Gather quality field notes and background data that contribute to accurate and impactful project deliverables
• Assist with conducting topographic right of way and subdivision surveys as well as construction layout activities
• Help monitor project applications through municipal approvals and land titles processes ensuring project schedules are achieved
• Collaborate closely with clients consultants and multidisciplinary team members to gather and share vital information
• Contribute to quality control efforts ensuring plans and computations are accurate and reliable

Qualifications & Experience:

Were looking for enthusiastic candidates who bring:

• A diploma or degree from a recognized Geomatics or Surveying program an asset
• 5-10 years of experience in the geomatics or land surveying industry
• A keen interest and experience in land development and construction surveys
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D or Trimble equipment is an asset;
• Strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and a positive proactive approach to teamwork
• A drive to learn grow and build a rewarding career in a supportive and collaborative environment
