How youll make an impact

Leverage your expertise in loan restructuring and managing complex accounts to help stabilize the financial situation of customers in the agriculture and food industry who are facing significant challenges.

As Senior Special Credit Account Manager youll manage some of the most complex and high-risk files. Drawing on your strong understanding of commercial lending practices and financial analysis youll develop realistic solutions negotiate with multiple stakeholders and minimize potential losses.

What youll do

• Analyze financial statements in order to assess the customers financial situation and identify viable recovery options

• Negotiate repayment agreements loan amendments and other solutions with customers and affected third parties

• Work with solicitors creditors and other specialists to protect FCCs interests

• Oversee the monitoring and implementation of action plans to address account issues

• Provide coaching mentorship and guidance to credit specialists and internal partners

What youll bring to the team

Required qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in finance business agricultural finance or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

• Minimum seven years of relevant experience in commercial credit or complex account management

• Extensive knowledge of commercial lending and recovery practices

• Proven expertise in financial analysis negotiation and restructuring of complex files

• Strong understanding of credit laws and recovery practices

• Proficiency with computer tools and software applications

• Proven experience providing coaching and mentorship

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with customers in the agribusiness food or agricultural production sectors

• Experience collaborating with external stakeholders such as solicitors bankruptcy trustees or receivers

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
