Role Summary

The Sitecore Architect leads the design and delivery of Clients enterprise digital experience platform using Sitecore XM Cloud enabling scalable secure and personalized customer and stakeholder experiences. This role defines architecture standards guides development teams and ensures cloud-first composable best practices aligned with business regulatory and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture for Sitecore XM Cloudbased solutions across public websites customer portals and internal digital platforms

Define and enforce: o Information architecture o Content modeling & content lifecycle strategies o Headless and composable DXP patterns

Design integration architecture between XM Cloud and: o CRM (Salesforce Dynamics) o SAP systems (S/4HANA IS U) o Customer Information Systems (CIS) o Analytics search and personalization platforms

Establish standards for: o Front-end frameworks ( React) o APIs GraphQL and middleware o Security identity and access management

Guide teams on: o Sitecore Content Editor & Experience Edge usage o Workflow governance and multi-site/multi-tenant setups

Oversee CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments using: o Azure o DevOps pipeline automation

Ensure solutions meet: o Utility regulatory requirements o Accessibility (AODA / WCAG) o Data privacy and cybersecurity standards

Collaborate with: o Business stakeholders o UX and content teams o Cloud security and enterprise architecture teams

Provide technical leadership code reviews and architectural decision support

Technical Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience as a Sitecore Architect with XM Cloud

Strong expertise in: o Headless and composable DXP architectures o Sitecore Content Modeling Layout Service and Experience Edge

Front-end & integration skills: o React TypeScript o REST / GraphQL APIs Cloud & DevOps: o Microsoft Azure o CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps GitHub Actions)

Security & governance: o Identity integration (Azure AD / SSO) o Role-based access control o Content governance models

Experience integrating with enterprise platforms: o SAP (S/4HANA IS U) o CRM analytics and personalization tools

Knowledge of Sitecore migration strategies especially: o XP XM Cloud transitions

Utility & Enterprise Experience

Experience working in: o Utilities energy or regulated industries

Familiarity with: o Regulatory content requirements o Customer communications and outage-related messaging o High availability and disaster recovery design
