Senior Scriptwriter [Assassins Creed]

As a Senior Scriptwriter on the Assassins Creed Franchise at Ubisoft Quebec City you will play a key role in shaping the narrative vision of the game. With a strong focus on story tone characters and dialogue you will provide narrative leadership while working closely with quest and mission designers narrative teams and production. Reporting to a Lead Writer you will contribute senior-level expertise within a highly collaborative writers room environment.

What youll do

• Define evolve and uphold the narrative tone and voice of the game in alignment with the Creative Directors vision
• Write and oversee scripts dialogue and in-game narrative content including cinematics missions scripted events and gameplay systems
• Partner closely with quest and mission designers to shape story structure and player experience
• Lead the development of key characters voices and relationships within the Assassins Creed universe
• Drive and contribute to world building including cultures locations and historical or fictional context
• Provide narrative guidance and feedback to other writers within a writers room setting
• Ensure narrative consistency quality and clarity across all story assets and reference documentation
• Support narrative planning integration and collaboration with production teams and external partners when required

What you bring to the team

• Significant experience in narrative writing and dialogue for interactive media
• Advanced expertise in narrative writing and dialogue
• Proven experience collaborating with multiple writers in a team-driven environment
• Strong understanding of video game narrative design and player-driven storytelling
• Ability to adapt writing to diverse tones styles and narrative needs
• Confidence giving and receiving high-level narrative feedback
• Strong communication organization and mentorship skills
• Curiosity creativity and a deep interest in people history and worlds
