Senior Project Procurement Specialist

Join our team and play a key role in supporting the modernization of facilities required for the future production of the River Class Destroyer Program. Working closely with the Infrastructure Project Team you will lead procurement and contracting activities for complex engineering construction and infrastructure projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of Canadas largest shipbuilding and infrastructure modernization programs while driving strategic procurement and contracting initiatives.

• Develop and execute sourcing procurement and contracting strategies for major infrastructure projects.
• Conduct market analysis supplier sourcing qualification and competitive RFX processes.
• Evaluate proposals support contract negotiations and prepare award recommendations.
• Manage contracts throughout the project lifecycle including supplier performance risk management and contract administration.
• Coordinate with suppliers subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure delivery quality cost and schedule objectives are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement contracting and procure-to-pay policies and procedures.

• Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Engineering Law or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Procurement Supply Chain or Contract Management.

• Experience managing complex contracts in construction infrastructure manufacturing or project-based environments.

• Professional designation such as SCMP MCIPS or ISM is considered an asset.

• Strong negotiation risk management analytical and stakeholder management skills.
