About the Opportunity
We are currently hiring a Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale Procurement System Modernization initiative within a major public sector environment. This role will lead complex enterprise transformation projects involving procurement modernization ERP transformation HRIS initiatives budgeting systems and large-scale business process improvements.
The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership business stakeholders vendors and technical teams to deliver large enterprise projects supporting digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Procurement modernization projects covering Contract-to-Pay Procure-to-Pay and Source-to-Contract processes
Manage enterprise projects involving ERP HRIS financial systems budgeting and operational transformation initiatives
Develop project charters roadmaps project plans governance models schedules and resource strategies
Lead project governance activities including executive updates steering committee reporting risk management and issue resolution
Collaborate with business leaders technical teams vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Manage project budgets forecasting resources timelines dependencies and project communications
Drive project execution while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and organizational objectives
Support change management stakeholder engagement communication planning and organizational readiness activities
Required Experience:
Strong Project Management experience delivering large enterprise initiatives
Experience managing Procurement transformation projects
Experience managing HRIS ERP Finance or Budgeting projects
Strong experience with project governance risk management and executive reporting
Experience managing large stakeholder groups and cross-functional teams
Experience creating project plans schedules business cases and status reporting
Preferred Experience:
Public sector experience
SAP / ERP modernization experience
Procurement systems experience
Experience working in highly regulated environments
Work Arrangement:
Onsite 5 Days per Week
Working Hours: MondayFriday (08:15 AM 04:30 PM Alberta Time)
Work must be performed from within Canada
