Location

The successful candidate will oversee multiple concurrent projects manage stakeholders coordinate vendors and ensure successful delivery of business and technology outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of Cloud AI and M365 projects
  
• Develop project charters business cases and project management plans
  
• Define scope timelines milestones budgets risks assumptions and dependencies
  
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams
  
• Oversee RAID (Risks Assumptions Issues Dependencies) management
  
• Track progress deliverables and project performance metrics
  
• Prepare and present executive-level project status reports
  
• Coordinate internal teams vendors and external stakeholders
  
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and IT governance standards
  
• Support change management communication and user adoption activities
  
• Facilitate workshops governance meetings and stakeholder sessions
  
• Develop and implement corrective actions to ensure project delivery success
  
• Provide recommendations on resource planning and delivery strategies
  
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies standards and procedures
  

Education Requirements (Must meet ONE)

• University degree in Business Management or related discipline 6 years PM experience
  
  OR
  
• 2-year diploma in Business/Management or related discipline 8 years PM experience
  
  OR
  
• 1-year certificate in Business/Management or related discipline 9 years PM experience
  
  OR
  
• 10 years Project Management experience
  

Certification (Mandatory)

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (PMI)
  

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5 years experience delivering Cloud-based and Artificial Intelligence projects using large-scale cloud providers
  
• 15 years experience identifying analyzing and managing risks on large complex projects
  
• 2 years experience in AI project/service enablement with enterprise cloud platforms
  
• 15 years experience in project scheduling planning estimation and monitoring
  

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• 15 years experience applying structured change management methodologies (Prosci ADKAR)
  
• 8 years experience leading Agile and Waterfall projects/programs
  
• 8 years experience facilitating stakeholder meetings at all organizational levels
  
• 10 years experience working in or with public sector organizations
  
• 7 years experience in process improvement documentation and requirements gathering
  
• 5 years experience with security/privacy controls (PIA STRA HIA POPA)
  
• 5 years experience in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
  
• Experience managing governance frameworks (RACI RAID escalation models)
  
• Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and communication planning
  

Technical Knowledge

• Cloud infrastructure environments (Microsoft Azure preferred)
  
• Microsoft 365 ecosystem and services
  
• IT change management processes
  
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) frameworks
  
• Enterprise IT systems architecture and integration concepts
  

Working Conditions

• Standard hours: 08:15 AM 04:30 PM (Alberta time) MondayFriday
  
• Remote work (must be physically located in Alberta)
  
• Occasional onsite meetings in Edmonton (34 times/month)
  
• No travel reimbursement for onsite attendance
  
• Must provide own equipment (Windows preferred; Azure Virtual Desktop compatible system required)
  

Equipment Requirement

Contractor must provide all required equipment including:

• Computer (Windows or MacOS compatible with AVD)
  
• Software and peripherals
  
• Secure remote access setup
