Intertek is searching for aSenior Project Engineer Engineering Servicesto join our Building & Constructionteam in our Mississauga ONoffice. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the Testing Inspection and Certification (TIC) Industry!
TheSenior Project Engineer Engineering Servicesis responsible for managing complex projects related to regulatory compliance of building products and/or assemblies direct involvement in Intertek certification programs and engagement with various external industries and technical associations.
What youll do:
- Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of building codes and related product standards by research and review. This includes witnessing testing at the laboratory to see the product standards in action.
- Work on engineering evaluations for regulatory compliance in Canada and US markets for both standardized and innovative building materials/assemblies
- Prepare technical and certification documentation derived from test results and evaluations.
- Help write compliance research reports create Listing reports through Interteks certification program and manage QA programs
- Perform audits and product sampling at client manufacturing facilities.
- Collaborate closely with sales laboratory and technical teams to support seamless project execution.
- Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion ensuring quality accuracy and timely delivery with continuous communication with clients.
- Participate actively in industry committees standards development activities and technical association meetings.

What it takes to be successful in this role:
- Bachelors degree in engineering architecture construction management or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in technical writing regulatory compliance and familiarity with the testing inspection and certification industry
- Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills

- Mustbeabletoworkindependentlyinafast-pacedmulti-taskingenvironment
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams

Salary & Benefits Information
The salary range for this position is $90000 - $130000 per year. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set experience qualifications and other job-related addition to competitive compensation packages Intertek employees are eligible for a variety of benefitsincluding paid time off paid holidays medical dental vision life and disability insuranceRRSP with company match tuition reimbursement and more.
