Senior OCS Design Engineer - Job Order #

Our Client	A global engineering and infrastructure firm delivering rail transit and infrastructure projects across North America.
Location	Toronto (GTA)
Position Description	The Senior OCS Design Engineer will join a rail systems team designing Overhead Contact Systems (OCS) for light rail commuter rail and streetcar systems. Responsibilities include OCS layout wire tension foundation and structure design coordinating with other engineering disciplines preparing design reports and specifications reviewing contractor submittals and providing installation testing and commissioning support.
Qualifications	Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (relevant experience may substitute) 515 years of experience designing DC and AC OCS/traction power systems Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and local codes Professional Engineer license or EIT certificate an asset Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation; STAAD/RISA experience a plus
