The Senior Manager Marketing Programs is a member of the Client Development and Marketing leadership team and reports to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. As a Senior Manager Marketing Programs you will be responsible for Oslers external market presence driving integrated results-focused marketing events and sponsorships that strengthen brand reputation and advance firm priorities.
As the architect of Oslers market activation strategy this role drives the end-to-end development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns that elevate our practices and major publications. This position provides high-level oversight of both digital and in-person event strategies to ensure that every firm touchpoint from digital advertising to flagship events is strategically aligned measurable and results-driven while also owning the firms sponsorship portfolio to advance business priorities and brand visibility.
This role manages two direct reports the Marketing Manager and Manager of Client Events. This team collaborates closely with colleagues across the marketing and business development teams.

Major Responsibilities
Lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across web social video and other channels working closely with lawyers and internal partners to build awareness reach the right audiences and clearly measure success.
Shape and execute the marketing and communications approach for Oslers flagship thought leadership reports collaborating across the firm to ensure our insights land with the audiences that matter most.
Evaluate negotiate and activate sponsorships and other market opportunities that support business goals and strengthen the firms profile partnering with marketing and business development colleagues on high-visibility initiatives.
Provide strategic direction for all client-facing events - virtual in-person and social - to deliver a strong consistent brand experience. Lead and mentor the Manager Client Events and support their team in delivering high-quality events.
Work closely with the BD team practice groups and other stakeholders to spot emerging issues growth areas and new opportunities and translate these into compelling website content and marketing plans.
Collaborate with the Senior Specialist Client & Marketing Analytics to understand how our marketing is performing overall bringing together data from campaigns client communications website activity and social channels to inform decisions and improve results.
Juggle multiple priorities and projects with confidence delivering thoughtful high-quality work on time and building strong relationships with stakeholders along the way.
Position Requirements
Education and Experience
The position requires a university degree preferably in marketing or communications and a minimum of ten years of experience in B2B marketing with at least five years proven experience leading a Marketing team. Experience in a law firm or other professional services environment is considered a strong asset. An equivalent combination of education training and experience may be acceptable.
Knowledge and Skills
Strong people leadership skills with a proven ability to manage mentor and develop highâperforming teams.
Extensive experience partnering with senior stakeholders including lawyers and executive leaders to ensure marketing initiatives are well targeted and aligned with business priorities.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing goâtoâmarket strategies for highâvalue thought leadership reports and major publications.
Proven ability to provide strategic seniorâlevel oversight of firm sponsorships and comprehensive event portfolios spanning virtual inâperson and social events.
Advanced experience planning executing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns within a B2B environment including PPC SEM and sponsored social media (e.g. LinkedIn Ads).
Advanced knowledge of marketing and communications best practices including CRM systems content management platforms (such as WordPress) email marketing and social media tools.
Strong capability to design and manage multiâchannel marketing campaigns endâtoâend from strategy through execution and measurement.
Deep understanding of marketing analytics with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategic improvements.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including writing and editing for senior and external audiences.
Highly adaptable collaborative and comfortable working in a fastâpaced environment with high stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrated discretion and a strong clientâservice mindset.
We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement which includes a requirement to work primarily in the office and flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
Compensation
Theârange of expected compensation for this position is $135000 - $145000 annually. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors including job-related knowledge education skills and experience.
