The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for a Sr. Manager Concerts & Events.

As a member of the Concerts & Events Fan Experience Departmentat theToronto Blue JaysBaseball Club & Rogers Centre this full-time position is responsible for leading theplanning operational oversight and execution of concerts concert promotions ticketed VIP package experiences non-baseball events galas private eventsand specialty game-day events at Rogers Centre.If you have high attention to detail enjoy working across collaborative teams influencing and shaping the vision for large-scale events and are an eventsand baseballafficionado this may be the position for you.

Reporting directly to the Director Concerts & Events this role serves as a senior operational leader within the departmentwith a focus on concert ownershipoverseeing event portfolios supporting team development and ensuring seamless execution across all event experiences while continuing to elevate and improve the event businessand fan experienceeach season.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and oversee the planning and execution of concerts concert promotions ticketed VIP package experiences non-baseballevents galas private events andspecialty game-day events at Rogers Centre while liaising with internal departments to ensure seamless execution and memorable fan experiences

• Lead and support concert advancing venue operations promoter relations VIP experiences activations and eventlogisticswhile ensuring alignment across internal departments and external stakeholders

• Liaise with promotertolead and supportinternal and externalcommunication andmarketing teams with concertand eventannouncementspromotionsand event-related initiatives while ensuring operational and brand alignment

• Work directly with internal ticketing team and Ticketmaster to ensure concert/event ticket builds areaccurate ticket on sales run smoothly and concerts and events are sold out to maximize revenue

• Oversee and support execution from load-in to load-out for concerts and major events including but notlimited to venue walkthroughs artist and promoter relations credentialing activationlogistics artist gifting parking catering and operational coordination

• Build andmaintainstrong working relationships with promoters vendors partners and internal stakeholders while contributing to a collaborative and team-oriented culture across all event operations

• Work collaboratively with internal departments including Security Facilities Ballpark Set-upField OperationsBallpark Experience & Operations Technical Production IT Merchandise Fan Services F&B and Engineering to ensure operational readiness and successful event delivery

• Provide operational oversight and leadership support across all event portfolios including staffing allocation prioritization resource planning and cross-functional coordination
• Act as the primary operationalleadfor concerts and major events while supporting problem-solving and decision-making across active event portfolios
• Assistwith on-field ceremonies and activation aspects of speciality game day entertainment pregame in-game and promotions elements associated for baseball when

• AssistinanyClub needs from planning logisticmovementand operations to ensure seamless transition between baseball/concerts seasons and renovations

• Partner with the Director Concerts & Eventsand Director Hospitality & Eventson departmental planning operational strategy business growth opportunities budgeting and process improvements

• Mentor and support event team members while fostering development opportunities andmaintainingstrong collaboration across the department

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of progressive eventand venue managementexperience including experience leading large-scaleconcerts andevent operations cross-functional coordinationvenueconversionknowledgeand managing multiple concurrent event portfolios in a fast-paced environment

• Proven ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on event execution whilemaintainingstrong attention to detail and operational excellence

• Previousexperience leading mentoring and supporting event staff while building collaborative working relationships across teams

• Strong communicator who can listen and constructively share opinions and receive feedback

• Strong operational mindset with the ability to prioritize workload manage competing priorities and effectively problem-solve in high-pressure environments

• Must be able to sustain long physical days

• Legally able to work in Canada

Salary:Theanticipatedbase compensation range for this role is $95000 $ base pay offered within this range may differ based on a range of factors including individual experience education skills and organizational needs.
