Job Description
Skills Required
Hands-on experience with Managed File Transfer systems.
MessageWay / Seeburger experience would be an added advantage.
Extensive knowledge of secure file transfer protocols data integration automation and troubleshooting MessageWay / Seeburger MFT processes.
Experience working with MessageWay / Seeburger MFT or similar managed file transfer solutions.
Strong understanding of secure file transfer protocols:
SFTP
FTPS
HTTPS
Experience in automating file transfer workflows and monitoring tools.
Knowledge of enterprise integrations and data exchange solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong familiarity with MessageWay / Seeburger configuration and file transfer management.
Experience with:
Linux/Unix environments
Windows Server environments
Knowledge of scripting languages for automation:
Shell
Python
PowerShell
Configured and maintained:
SSH keys for secure partner connections
PGP keys for encryption/decryption of sensitive files
Job Responsibilities
Install configure and maintain MessageWay / Seeburger MFT software for secure file transfers.
Configure and manage:
Transfer flows
Queues
Channels
for seamless data exchange.
Implement and enforce secure file transfer protocols including:
SFTP
FTP
FTPS
Automate file transfer workflows using MessageWay / Seeburger MFT automation tools.
Monitor and resolve file transfer issues by reviewing:
Logs
Triggers
Alerts
Ensure high availability and reliability of file transfer systems.
Provide Level 2/3 support for troubleshooting and resolving file transfer issues.
Collaborate with internal teams:
IT
DevOps
Other technical teams
to ensure smooth file transfer operations.
Perform root cause analysis on file transfer failures and implement corrective actions.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for:
Configurations
Workflows
Troubleshooting procedures
Perform Windows OS server patching coordinate maintenance activities and validate application functionality after OS patching.
