Location:Calgary Alberta
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer to manage and support enterprise z/OS environments supporting critical financial services applications and infrastructure.
IMPORTANT NOTE BFSI EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Candidates must have recent experience supporting enterprise mainframe infrastructure within Banking Financial Services Insurance Payments Capital Markets or Wealth Management organizations.
Candidates without BFSI industry experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer IBM z/OS environments.
- Perform system upgrades maintenance and patching.
- Monitor performance capacity and system availability.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
- Manage RACF security administration.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues.
- Support development and production teams.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of z/OS Systems Programming experience.
- Expertise with z/OS JES2 TSO/ISPF and SMP/E.
- Experience with RACF administration.
- Strong understanding of enterprise mainframe environments.
- Experience supporting high-volume transaction systems.
