The Senior Firmware Applications Engineer is responsible for designing and developing camera vision and imaging applications using indies Camera Video Processor product lines. You will become deeply knowledgeable of indies camera video processor products to provide customers with application specific solutions and enable further development of innovative automotive products.

Responsibilities:

• Designanddevelopsoftware/firmwareapplications forimage and videoprocessors.

• Customize firmware/embedded applicationfortarget customerusecase

• Implement and support the custom application development through itslife-cycleby coordinating with customers internal teams andpartners

• Author designdocumentsand application notes

• Providehardware and softwaredevelopment tools training tocustomers

Requirements:

• 4-6yearsof experiencedeveloping applicationsin embedded firmware preferably using RTOSand Linux.

• Hands-on experience with camera technologies image/video processing pipelines image sensors and computer vision applications

• Strong skills in embedded SW engineering with hands-on experience with C/CPython scriptetc.

• Strong analytical and debuggingskillsand experiencewith popular industrialhardware and softwaredebugging toolsand methods.

• Excellent communicationdocumentationand presentation skills

• Experience in (or knowledge of) Image processing Image quality and Image tuning a significantplus.

• Experience in automotive electronic products or similar products is aplus.

• Experience in deep learning (e.g. object detection) for computer vision is a plus

• Bachelorsdegreein electrical engineering software engineeringorarelated technical field isrequired.

• Ability to travelinternationallywithoutrestriction.

Expected Compensation CAD $110K $152K based on experience qualifications and location. Additional compensation may include bonus equity and other forms of compensation.
