Job Title: Senior FinOps Engineer

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Senior FinOps Engineer with a strong background in BFSI Public Sector or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will lead cloud financial management initiatives and support enterprise cloud optimization programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead FinOps initiatives across BFSI Public Sector and Telecom environments.
• Support cloud modernization programs involving core banking systems citizen services platforms OSS/BSS systems billing platforms and telecom infrastructure.
• Develop enterprise cloud cost governance frameworks and optimization strategies.
• Lead budgeting forecasting and cloud financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with finance engineering architecture and executive stakeholders.
• Support telecom network operations 5G services and enterprise digital platforms.
• Establish cloud cost accountability and reporting practices.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with governance security and financial controls.
• Promote FinOps best practices and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior FinOps Engineer within BFSI Public Sector or Telecom environments.
• Experience supporting banking systems government applications OSS/BSS platforms billing systems charging platforms or telecom environments.
• Strong expertise in cloud financial management and optimization.
• Experience with Azure AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of governance compliance and financial controls.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities.
• FinOps certifications preferred.
