Reporting to the Controller or Director Finance youll deliver rigorous analysis that informs decision-making. If you bring the depth of a CPA the instincts of a strategist and the communication skills to bridge finance and the business wed love to meet you.

Who You Are

You have solid accounting and finance expertise across financial reporting budgeting and financial systems.

You are someone colleagues turn to for guidance coaching and subject-matter know-how.

You bring strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a track record of dissecting complex data and making clear recommendations.

You are a master researcher able to dig into complex technical concepts and provide clear guidance
You communicate with confidence at all levels from accounting technicians to senior leadership translating complex financial concepts into accessible insights.

You are organized and deadline-driven comfortable managing competing priorities and delivering under time pressure.

You are flexible and creative ready to develop business solutions in ambiguous or evolving situations.

How Youll Make an Impact

You will embody flexibility and adaptability as you leverage your skills to support the teams where needed which may include:

Analyze and evaluate complex financial information processes and alternatives to produce recommendations and reporting for senior management and the board.

Oversee preparation of financial reports and financial statements ensuring relevance accuracy IFRS compliance and appropriate insight for stakeholders.

Support the annual budgeting process including creating operating expense and salary worksheets consolidating submissions and supporting business areas throughout.

Research analyze and evaluate new and existing financial standards guidelines and requirements assessing organizational impact and coordinating implementation of recommendations.

Lead or support cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives as project manager or subject matter expert translating strategy into business requirements and ensuring delivery on scope and schedule.

Working with financial models to deliver insights including supporting strong capital management and liquidity practices and providing financial forecasts.

Oversee the creation and maintenance of financial processes policies and procedures.

What You Bring to the Table

Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Business.

Accounting designation (CPA CA CMA or CGA).

Seven years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role with increasing levels of responsibility.
