Friends of Ruby supports 2SLGBTQIA youth aged 1629 through mental health services social programs and housing. We operate a Youth Centre and a Transitional Home offering identity-based barrier-free counselling case management housing supports drop-in and community programming in affirming and integrated way. Our work is rooted in intersectional anti-oppressive and decolonized approaches and we are committed to treating everyone with dignity respect and inclusion.
The Senior Digital Brand Officer leads brand strategy integrated marketing campaigns digital media content creation public relations and crisis communications. They oversee social media digital assets and website content while ensuring consistent brand expression and alignment with organizational mission values and communication goals
About the Role
- As the Senior Digital Brand Officer you will be responsible for:
- Lead FoRs brand digital marketing and social media strategy ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across channels.
- Develop inclusive youth-centred content and storytelling that reflects 2SLGBTQIA experiences and advances organizational goals.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing fundraising and awareness campaigns that drive engagement growth and donations.
- Create and oversee high-quality digital content and creative assets aligned with FoRs brand.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams media influencers community partners and vendors to amplify FoRs reach and impact.
- Use analytics audience insights and emerging trends to measure performance and continuously improve digital strategies.
- Support public relations media opportunities and crisis communications ensuring timely and brand-aligned messaging.

Required Credentials
- Post-secondary education in marketing communications digital media PR or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in digital marketing communications social media and integrated campaign development.
- Strong writing storytelling editing and content creation skills for diverse audiences.
- Experience building brand consistency and creating inclusive youth-centred content reflecting 2SLGBTQIA voices and experiences.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams media influencers vendors and community partners.
- Proficiency with digital social media website content and analytics tools; knowledge of SEO email marketing and digital advertising is an asset.

What We Need
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Must provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Must reside in Ontario.
- Must be willing to work onsite in downtown Toronto on a hybrid schedule.
- Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends occasionally as required.
- Travel to various community-based settings as needed
