Senior BIM Coordinator

Job Summary
- Manage and maintain federated BIM models across all project disciplines.
- Lead clash detection and resolution activities track issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary BIM coordination between design consultants contractors and project stakeholders.
- Support 4D construction sequencing and model-based construction planning throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and BIM support to project teams during both design and construction phases.
- Ensure BIM deliverables meet project standards quality requirements and coordination objectives.
- Participate in coordination meetings and communicate model updates issues and resolutions.
- Conduct regular site visits to Napanee Ontario (1-2 days per week) to support field coordination validate model accuracy and resolve construction-related issues.
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator on building industrial commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of building construction methods construction sequencing and multidisciplinary coordination processes.
- Proven experience managing federated models conducting clash detection and coordinating model issue resolution across multiple disciplines.
- Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit Navisworks Civil 3D and Autodesk Forma.
- Experience using Synchro 4D and/or Fuzor for 4D planning construction sequencing and schedule visualization.
- Familiarity with 4D and 5D BIM workflows construction planning and digital project delivery.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards model quality control and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy while effectively supporting project teams and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication leadership analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced BIM/VDC professional with strong expertise in multidisciplinary coordination federated model management clash detection and digital coordination tools.
- Demonstrates a high level of autonomy in managing assignments and making technical decisions.
- Able to support project teams facilitate coordination meetings resolve technical challenges and contribute to 4D planning initiatives.
- Excellent communication leadership analytical and collaborative skills.
