Join BMO Wealth Data & Analytics and help turn data into meaningful insights that drive better business decisions and support key Wealth initiatives. As part of a high-performing team youll design and deliver impactful analytics and visualization solutions that enable fact-based decision-making.
Working closely with business partners youll translate complex needs into intuitive dashboards reporting and data-driven recommendations using tools such as SQL SAS Python and Power BI. Youll also have opportunities to expand your technical skillset including exposure to emerging analytics capabilities and AI-driven tools.

This role actively involves design and delivery of data-driven solutions by translating business needs into actionable analytics driving high-quality fact-based decision-making. Provides expert guidance on data management analytics and visualization technologies and shapes strategic roadmaps for data quality modeling reporting and advanced decision-support capabilities.
- Actively participates in the design implementation and management of new analytics & reporting solutions.
- Builds reports (regular and ad hoc) and visualization dashboards to effectively communicate data driven insights to users for a variety of audiences e.g. visualization solutions of data into reports graphics dashboards to illustrate facts trends and insights.
- Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Breaks down strategic problems and analyses data and information to provide subject matter insights and recommendations.
- Monitors and tracks dashboard/report performance user acceptance testing and addresses any issues.
- Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting.
- Supports development and execution of strategic analytics & reporting initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Documents and maintain operational procedures and processes relating to analytical and reporting processes.
- Collaborates and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver on business objectives.
- Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader enterprise-wide focus.
- Exercises judgment to identify diagnose and solve problems within given rules.
- Works independently on a range of complex tasks which may include unique situations.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and experience in data preparation data analysis ETLs and statistical tool sets - SQL Python and SAS - In-depth.
- Knowledge and experience in visualization tools particularly Power BI

Hybrid Work Model:
This role operates in a hybrid work environment with a mix of in-office and remote work. Candidates are expected to be based within a commutable distance to our First Canadian Place (FCP) office in Toronto and attend the office on designated in-office days in alignment with team and business requirements.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
