We are seeking a Senior Analyst IGM Financial Reporting to support the preparation analysis and reporting of the consolidated results of IGM Financial Inc. and its Strategic Investments. This role is crucial for the accurate and timely preparation of management analysis and external reporting. As a key member of the financial reporting team you will play an important role in preparing and reviewing financial reports for regulators the Board of Directors shareholders and external parties. You will also contribute to the integrity and control of financial information and the systems that provide this information.

This position is integral to the ongoing improvement and efficiency initiatives of the financial reporting process including the identification and implementation of automation opportunities the adoption of emerging technologies (including AI-enabled tools) and participation in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing reporting capabilities and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare monthly quarterly and year-end management reporting and analysis for senior management the Board of Directors and Board Committees.
  • Participate in the monthly preparation of the consolidated financial statements and various supporting documents.
  • Prepare and compile supporting documentation for various public and internal reports.
  • Participate in innovation and department improvement opportunities including identifying and implementing automation solutions (e.g. process standardization workflow tools and data integrations) to improve efficiency accuracy and scalability.
  • Support the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies including AI-driven tools to enhance financial analysis reporting processes and insight generation.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of financial reporting to meet changing business and regulatory needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to obtain or provide information and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Engage in corporate and departmental projects as required including supporting project planning execution documentation and stakeholder communication to ensure timely and effective delivery of outcomes.
  • Assist in documenting processes controls and improvements to support strong governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in preparing financial information for internal management and external users.
  • Post-secondary degree with a professional accounting designation (CPA).
  • Expert knowledge and experience with MS Office with demonstrated ability to leverage advanced Excel and other tools to drive automation and process efficiency.
  • Familiarity with general ledger and supporting financial systems; experience with data tools reporting platforms or automation technologies is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of accountability.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage frequent interruptions and tight deadlines.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $65500 - $82000 which is determined based on skills knowledge and experience and geographic addition to base salary this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive health and well-being benefits retirement and savings plan paid time off and career development.
