Reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Planning & Analysis the Senior Analyst will lead financial analysis for management reporting budgeting and strategic growth initiatives. You will work closely with senior team members and other internal and external stakeholders including professionals in operations finance treasury tax and accounting in performing your role. This is a dynamic high visibility role where you will be a key member contributing to ATCO Structures overall long-term strategy and your deliverables will be used by senior leadership in making strategic decisions which enhance long-term value.
This is a full time permanent role based out of our Calgary Office.
What You Get to Do:
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards tailored to business needs and intended audience including executive leadership.
Build and maintain data models suitable for reporting and analysis using ELT processes. This includes overseeing the collection storage and management of data across multiple sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs and provide solutions that meet those requirements
Produce and maintain recurring management reporting packages (monthly KPIs operational scorecards financial summaries)
Support adhoc executive requests with quickturn analysis
Reduce reliance on Excel reporting
Who You Are:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Data Science or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in data analysis data management and reporting.
Proficiency with Power BI and with data analysis tools and software such as SQL.
Strong understanding of relational databases and experience with ERPs (such as SAP and Oracle). Financial background is considered an asset.
Experience with data warehousing ELT processes and data governance.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities including interpreting complex data sets.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
Experience in managing data-related projects and working with cross-functional teams.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis.
Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization partnerships and third-party advisors
