Scale and Transportation Clerk

AIM is currently looking for an Scale and Transportation Clerk for our Baie-Comeau site. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Reporting to the Site Manager you will play an important role in the smooth operation of the department. You will support the team with administrative tasks planning transportation and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the opening and closing of daily operations including cash management and report preparation;
• Welcome customers provide pricing information and deliver excellent customer service both in person and by phone;
• Weigh vehicles enter data into RECY and prepare scale tickets and delivery slips;
• Coordinate transportation activities including truck dispatching and shipment tracking;
• Manage operational documentation (tickets invoices shipments) and follow up with the Accounting department;
• Enter and track information in internal systems ensuring data accuracy;
• Follow up on customer accounts and payments and respond to information requests;
• Perform various administrative tasks and contribute to improving work practices.

Qualifications :

• You have good knowledge of MS Office (Excel Word Outlook);
• You are comfortable providing customer service;
• You are organized and able to manage priorities;
• You are autonomous and reliable in your daily work;
• You are comfortable communicating in both French and English;
• You enjoy working as part of a team;
• Experience in administration is an asset.
